Non-Contact
QBR Camp is a NON-CONTACT camp. We believe that high school and youth players should learn the fundamentals of their positions without risking the chance of a season or career-ending injury.

Camp Length - 4Days/3 Nights
Who Should Attend:
HIGH SCHOOL (grades 9 - 12) and
YOUTH (6th, 7th & 8th graders)

Youth players receive the same on-field instruction as the high school players. Their position meetings are youth football-specific. Please consider your camper’s maturity level including whether he can get along with other boys and his ability to spend three nights in a dorm away from home.

Instructional Groups
Players are grouped by position and grade in school.

A's ........ Grades 6, 7 & 8
B's ........ Sophomores & Freshmen
C's ........ Seniors & Juniors

Attending With Teammates
Strongly recommended. If you attend with one or more of your teammates you will have the opportunity to work on your timing and non-verbal communication throughout camp and during our five “team” practice periods.

Attending Without Teammates
Single campers receive the same instruction and number of repetitions as do teammates.

America’s #1 Football Camp
Quarterback and Receiver Camp is considered the premier fundamentals-based, non-contact football camp. Every camper is coached and treated as if he were a potential Heisman winner and #1 NFL draft pick. Our objective is to develop each player to his fullest potential and to teach the fundamentals that are reinforced with hundreds of repetitions at each practice along with emphasizing character development and leadership.

QBR Camp Philosophyfootball training in small groups

QBR Camp is known for teaching the fundamentals of the passing game. For 44 years, QBR Camp does it better then any other camp.

Coaching Staff
Each camp is headed by a QBR Camp Head Coach who oversees the QBR Camp instructional program. QBR Camp coaches and staff are selected from quality college, high school and youth programs. The majority of QBR Camp coaches have previous QBR Camp experience.

Small Group Instruction
QBR Camp’s coach to camper ratio averages 1:10, ideal for maximum repetitions with minimum fatigue. Campers rotate with their group through instructional stations where they learn specific drills, skills and actions and practice them repeatedly until they become habit.

9 Practices and 5 Position Meetings
A total of nine practices, with over 15 hours of on-field instruction, and five position meetings are held during camp. Parents, coaches and guests are welcome as observers provided they do not interfere with the instructional program.

Certified Athletic Trainer quarterback camp trainers
Our campers’ health and safety is priority #1. A QBR Camp staff certified athletic trainer is at each camp to care for accidents, injuries, illnesses and medical emergencies.

Housing/Dorm Supervision
QBR Campers will live in campus dorms, two per room (except in California where they are housed in up to seven person suites). Campers will be assigned a roommate based on: 1) name of preferred roommate listed on camper’s application; 2) same school; and 3) similar age and grade. Each camper will have his own bed and mattress. In lieu of air conditioning we recommend that campers bring an electric fan. California camps 1 and 2 will have air conditioning. QBR Camp staff and coaches live on the same floors as the campers and provide adult supervision throughout camp.

Security/Key Deposit
A security/key deposit of $60 is required to be paid at check-in. Every camper must have his own room key. The deposit will be refunded at check-out provided there is no room damage and the room key is returned.

Meals and Snack BarAll you can eat
All-you-can-eat-meals are provided by the host college. A snack bar is available each night after the position meeting where food and snacks may be purchased.

Personal Valuables
Campers are responsible for their own valuables. QBR Camp assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen camper property. QBR Camp does not provide camp banking services.

Camp Store
Campers may purchase QBR Camp instructional aids and practice gear at the Camp Store throughout camp. Click here to visit our Camp Store.

Leisure TimeHigh School Through Grade 6
Due to QBR Camp’s comprehensive instructional program we do not offer swimming, weight training, basketball or other recreational activities. We encourage campers to rest between practice sessions to achieve maximum learning.

Transportation/ Directions to Camp
Campers are responsible for their own transportation to and from camp. Our insurance coverage prohibits QBR Camp to transport or arrange carpools for campers. Campers who arrive before the opening day of camp must make their own off-campus accommodations. Airport shuttle information is available on the Football Camps Dates, Locations page.

QBR Camp. We only want campers who are willing to follow our camp rules and regulations.

5. Meals – Parents are discouraged from eating with their son in the college cafeteria. Again, we are encouraging our campers independence, and to meet other players.
6. Housing for Parent and Guests – If you are going to stay in the area during camp please take advantage of the local motels, hotels and bed and breakfasts listed on the website under “Camp Locations.” The host colleges do not have the ability to house parents and visitors in the campus dorms.

Parents and guests attending meetings are there to observe only.

Attending QBR Camp is a privilege. You are expected to follow all QBR Camp rules and regulations, both written below and those stated verbally at camp. Your personal safety is our primary concern. You represent your family, school and community and we expect the highest quality of behavior from every camper.  QBR Camp maintains the right to dismiss any camper for just cause, including violating the rules and regulations below without refund.

1. It is your responsibility to notify either the Head Coach or the Camp Director of any problem or concern that you may have regarding ANY aspect of your QBR CAMP experience. We can fix things during camp; they can’t be fixed afterwards.
2. Profanity, hazing, threatening or bullying behavior, off-color jokes, references to race, creed, ethnicity, nationality, religion, individual appearance, personal preferences or any other distinction WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
3.

A $60 cash security/key deposit will be collected at check-in. Every camper is required to have his own room key. If you lose your key the lost key charge will be deducted from the deposit.

4. Roommates have been pre-assigned based on the name you listed as your roommate preference on your application, followed by same school, similar grade and age. Unauthorized room changes are prohibited.
5. Campers are responsible for maintaining their dorm room and common dorm areas (lounges, hallways, elevators, etc.) in the same condition as they were found at the start of camp. Any alteration to the original condition of the dorms when you arrived including, but not limited to, damage, excessive litter, furniture that’s been moved, etc. is prohibited. All furniture must be returned to its location when you arrived at camp. Costs incurred will come from the key/security deposit of those who were responsible. Any costs above the $60 security/key deposit will be billed to your family and/or school/team. Trash bags will be provided in each room.
6. As soon as you enter your dorm room after checking in, look it over thoroughly for any pre-existing damage including broken furniture & windows, missing or torn screens (never remove screens), etc. If there’s any pre-existing damage it is your responsibility to fill out the “QBR CAMP Dorm Room Damage” form from the Camp Director at check-in and fill it out with your roommate(s) and return it to the Camp Director prior to the first practice. This will protect you from being assessed room damage charges for which you are not responsible.
7. Keep your dorm room neat and clean throughout camp. Before checking out of camp on the last day every camper’s dorm coach will be thoroughly inspected by his dorm coach for damage, litter, furniture misplacement, etc. After he’s approved the overall condition of the room he will give the camper a “Room/Dorm Check-Out” form that he has signed. Take this form to camp check out along with your room key and receive your $60 security/key deposit.
8. Ordering food from off-campus (pizza, Chinese, etc.) is strictly forbidden. A snack bar operated by the host college will be open each night immediately following the night meeting until 10:50 p.m.

Only the athletic trainer, Head Coach and Camp Director can give a camper permission to be absent or late from any camp event. If you are unable to practice you will be expected to follow your position group and learn as much as you can by watching.

17.

If you become sick or injured you must see the athletic trainer, your dorm coach, another coach on staff, the Head Coach or the Camp Director immediately! Staff will have their names posted on their dorm room door to help you locate them.

If you need to be taped from a pre-existing injury or from an injury received at QBR CAMP, see the trainer before practice for evaluation and taping. You are still required to be at practice on time.
20. Loud noise from yelling, radios and CD players are prohibited. Always show respect to your roommate(s) and other campers in the dorm. Quiet time, rest and sleep between practices and at night are extremely important.
21. During meals you are welcome to go back for seconds…provided you eat everything on your plate. No wasted food, please. Food cannot be taken out of the cafeteria. 22. Drink plenty of water at meals and between and during practice. Avoid soft drinks and other caffeinated beverages. Bring your own squirt bottle to practice where water and Gatorade will be provided.
